This is a class designed to help women who have recently had a baby reconnect with their bodies and engage and strengthen muscles that are weakened during pregnancy, including the abdominal and pelvic floor muscles.  Babies are welcome to come and watch the class!

Stop by the Teddy Bear Clinic, hosted by Dr. Andy Sagan and Dr. Nisha Vijay of Northside Pediatrics from Swedish Covenant Hospital. Parents can meet the doctors, and children can bring their favorite stuffed animal to the booth for a "doctor's checkup!" Don't miss this fun and engaging visit.

Swedish Covenant Hospital pharmacists will provide $25 flu shots for individuals 18 years and older. Flu vaccination is not recommended if you have an egg allergy or a severe allergy to any vaccine component. The vaccine will also include the H1N1 vaccination.

Learn the best ways to exercise your brain and keep it healthy from Dr. Danny Park, a neurologist from Swedish Covenant Hospital. Experts from Marbles: The Brain Store will also be on hand to explain how brain games, teasers and riddles can improve your memory, coordination, visual perception and mental fitness. Stick around to play games in the store and enjoy a 10 percent discount on all purchases made that evening.

Learn the best ways to overcome joint pain and stay active, and get information on the latest joint pain treatments from Dr. Jennifer Connor, an orthopedic surgeon at Swedish Covenant Hospital. An exercise physiologist from Galter LifeCenter will demonstrate exercises designed to strengthen muscles which may minimize joint pain and arthritis symptoms.

Up for a Tri challenge? We are ending the 2010 triathlon training season with a fun challenge. Seasoned triathletes to first–timers are welcome. For this challenge you set your own pace. All the action will take place inside GLC–convenient and weatherproof!
Distances: swim–10 minutes, cycle–20 minutes, run–15 minutes.
