Children ages 3-5 years learn what to expect when a new little sister or brother arrives and practice how to hold a baby (with parent's help). Children also learn the basics of diapering and swaddling a baby, then watch a video about “what a newborn looks like.” One parent is required to attend with child – both parents are welcome.

A craft activity is included in which the child makes a gift for the new baby. 

Fee $15 for one child; $25.00 for two; $30.00 for three.

Join Dr Kavita Singh, gastroenterologist at Swedish Covenant Hospital, as she provides a medical explanation of this condition. A registered dietitian from Galter LifeCenter will discuss how to develop and maintain a healthy, balanced gluten-free diet, including navigating restaurants and entertaining. This class will be beneficial to those who have this condition, or know someone living with it. Samples and recipes provided by Whole Foods Market. All proceeds benefit Gluten Intolerance Group of Chicago.
