Beginning with the basics, this class will then transform some of our beginning asanas (yoga postures) into more challenging poses (think standing balancing, arm balances and binding twists.) This class is for everyone, as you can stop at any point along the way towards the transformation; Please come with an open mind and a light heart to enjoy the challenge!

A gentle form of yoga utilizing the chair for support. Chair yoga allows for greater flexibility and joint mobility through breath and relaxation techniques. Great for beginners and seniors.

This course is designed for individuals interested in yoga with a gentle approach. The class moves at a slower pace, offering time for individual assistance. Classes incorporate relaxation through breath and restorative poses as well as basic asanas (yoga postures) to improve overall strength and flexibility. All levels welcome, but students must be able to get up and down from the floor either unassisted or with a chair. Yoga mats and props are provided. Please wear comfortable clothing.

Prenatal yoga offers many ways to be more comfortable throughout the birthing year. Learn yoga poses that will ease the stress caused by carrying the baby. Breathing exercises will be practiced to help provide relief of emotional stress, calming the central nervous system and bringing balance to fluctuating hormone levels. Yoga can help quiet the mind and ease worries allowing one to focus on the exciting time to come. Minimum participation is required to begin session. Join our 6-week sessions anytime.

What is more beautiful than greeting the day of spring with yoga? Connect with your breath, practice compassion and find harmony on the longest day of the year, so that you may have inner peace throughout the rest of the year. No prior experience required. This will be a fun, invigo­rating morning practice.

Designed for the student with some prior yoga experience. This class will refine alignment in the asanas and introduce advanced poses and sequenced combinations of poses. Breath control techniques (pranayama) will continue to be developed.

Designed for entry-level yoga students with little or no previous experience. This class will introduce the student to the principles of yoga including breathing, asanas (poses done to increase strength, flexibility, and body awareness), diaphragmatic breathing, and relaxation techniques.

Zen Yoga combines the deep relaxation of classic Restorative Yoga and the deep stretching of Yin Yoga into a beautiful practice that will soothe the body and soul.  Deeply supported poses are held for a longer time allowing for full release of the tensions stored in the physical body.  The atmosphere of the class is soft and soothing allowing the mind to let go of busy thoughts.  A perfect practice for anyone wanting to experience the sense of leeting go and opening up into one's true self.  No prior yoga experience necessary.
