We read in the Chicago Tribune that the Chicago Police Department recently gave warnings and tickets to bikers who blew through red lights. Should bikers be held to the same rules as cars? Will ticketing bikers help make the roads safer? Are motorists responsible for keeping bikers safe ? Is this long overdue? Let us know what you think.

I've always thought that bikers need to follow the same rules of the road as cars. I always try to be aware of bikers on the road, but they also need to be held responsible if they are cutting through cars or blowing through red lights.
