Recipe: Homemade, all natural marinara

Whether you are preparing for an unprocessed food challenge, or are just trying to eat healthier, making kitchen staples like sauces and broths from scratch is a great start. Try out this easy, delicious marinara recipe, courtesy of the Whipped blog.

3 pints of cherry tomatoes, halved
6 cloves garlic, halved

Using a cookie sheet with lip edge, spread 5 tablespoons of olive oil covering bottom of pan
Place tomatoes cut size up
Fit in garlic within tomatoes
Sprinkle generously with kosher salt

Bake on 350 for 30 minutes

Pour all ingredients into food processor 
Add fresh basil

Serve – makes about 2-3 cups
